Welcome to District 103!
We serve elementary students from the communities of Lincolnshire and Prairie View and portions of Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, Mettawa, Riverwoods and Lake Forest. Students attend our three schools, which have received the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award from the U.S. Department of Education: Laura B. Sprague, Half Day, and Daniel Wright Junior High Schools. Our vision is to be "Leaders in Learning" - the premier educational organization. And, we believe a collaborative school community is what forms successful students. We invite you to peruse our website to learn more on how we are preparing young children for success in the 21st Century. Please contact us with any questions at (847) 295-4030 or Email us.
The World Language Committee wants to thank the parents and staff who have been part of the World Language study. At the Board of Education meeting on March 19th, a new World Language program was approved for School District 103. More information is posted on our Curriculum & Instruction web page.
