An Update for Our Community from Gilbane Building Company
This message is provided by Gilbane Building Company concerning the construction project at Laura B. Sprague School.
“Gilbane and their subcontractors will be mobilizing to the Laura Sprague School site in late January/early February 2017. The project involves a two-level addition to the west side of the existing school along with some utility work near the entrance off Kings Cross Dr. The project will last until mid-August 2017.
A screened perimeter fence with appropriate signage will be installed for the duration of the construction project. Construction vehicles will enter the site off of Kings Cross Dr. Through the end of the school year, contractors will be parking in the lot in the NW corner of Yorkshire Dr. and Riverwoods Rd. During the summer, contractors will be parking in the school’s east and south parking lots.
Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Deliveries are planned to enter the site from Kings Cross Dr. via Berkshire Lane.
