District 103 is proud to offer a comprehensive World Language Program in grades K – 8. Highlights of our World Language program follow:

• Program Model is content-enriched FLES; uses a foreign language to teach subject content from the regular school curriculum; focus is not on language instruction alone.
• Language is Spanish.
• Students in grades kindergarten through 2 receive approximately 1.5–2 hours of Spanish instruction weekly. 
• Students in grades 3 through 5 receive approximately 2.5 hours of Spanish instruction weekly.
• Students in grades 6 through 8 receive approximately 3.5 hours of Spanish instruction weekly.
