Fiber Arts Activity

Purpose of the Activity

  • A class workshop where students can learn a new skill in the fiber arts or practice skills they already possess. Fiber Arts includes but is not limited to: sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, felting, weaving, etc. (however due to the virtual nature of the activity, activities are limited to what is available to the student at home, i.e.-sewing machine) Open to students who would like to express themselves through the world of textiles. All supplies needed are covered in the materials fee and provided to students.

Tryout Procedures

  • There are no tryouts for this activity.

Number of Participants

  • The activity is limited 20 participants.

Grade Level/s of Participants

  • Open to sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders.

Meeting Schedule and Location

    • Season: Fall, Winter
    • Meeting Day: Thursday
    • Time: 3:45 p.m.
    • Location: Room 126 (Family Consumer Sciences Room)

Student Attendance Guidelines

  • Students may not make up or receive a refund for missed days.

  • To participate, families must pay a participation fee using the RevTrak Web Store. There is also a $15 materials fee.
