Culinary Arts

Purpose of the Activity

  • Hone your skills in the world of culinary arts. Learn how to make classic favorites from scratch. Menu includes:  Cacio e Pepe Pasta (creamy parmesan sauce with roasted cherry tomatoes,) Fudgy Brownies, Chicken OR Eggplant Parmesan, Cinnamon Apple Hand Pies, & Neapolitan Style Pizza. Due to the time restrictive nature of this class, menu substitutions cannot be met. Food will be cooked in a peanut/tree nut free kitchen. Recipes contain the following allergens: Dairy, Gluten, Eggs.

Tryout Procedures

  • There are no tryouts for this activity. Make sure you have a permission to participate form on file with the activity sponsor or coach otherwise you will not be able to particpate. 

Number of Participants

  • The club is limited to 14 participants.

Grade Level/s of Participants

  • Open to seventh- and eighth-graders.

Meeting Schedule and Location

    • Season: Fall
    • Meeting Day: Wednesday
    • Time: 3:45 p.m.
    • Location: Room 126 (Family Consumer Sciences Room) 

Student Attendance Guidelines

  • Students may not make up or receive a refund for missed days.

  • To participate, families must pay a $25 participation fee using the RevTrak Web Store. There is also a $20 materials fee.
