Catalyst Club

Purpose of the Activity

  • Catalyst Club is a leadership group dedicated to supporting and encouraging a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle for the youth in our community. Students from Daniel Wright work in partnership with Stevenson High School and other feeder middle schools to spread the word on healthy living.

Tryout Procedures

  • Based on the Catalyst Middle School Program guidelines, there are only eight available spots for DW students to participate in this activity.  Students are invited to participate after being nominated by teachers.  This is a two-year commitment for students during their seventh- and eighth-grade years.  Members need to have a permission to participate form on file with the club sponsor or coach otherwise they will not be able to participate in the program.
