Inspecting Instructional Materials

Materials shall be made available for inspection by guardians of students attending the schools. These include all instructional materials, such as teachers’ manuals, films, tapes, or other supplementary materials, which will be used in connection with any survey, analysis, or evaluation as part of any applicable program of the District. This policy is adopted to fulfill the provisions of the amendment to Section 439 of the General Education Provisions Act (20 U.S.C. 1232h).
