Summer School Schedule

  • Summer School classes will run daily beginning Tuesday, June 8 and ending Wednesday, June 30. In-person classes meet at Daniel Wright Junior High School.

     
    In-Person & Remote Schedule

    PERIOD 1

    8:30 a.m to 9:20 a.m.

    PERIOD 2

    9:25 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

    PERIOD 3

    10:20 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.

    PERIOD 4

    11:15 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.

    School District 103 will be offering Enrichment and Intervention Summer School courses at Daniel Wright Junior High School for students currently in grades K-7. Summer school runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 8 through Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

     

In-Person Summer School

    • All COVID-19 mitigation strategies that have been implemented during the regular school year will continue during in-person summer school programs.

      • The cost to register for an in-person POD is $350.00 per student

      • Course Descriptions for In-Person PODs

      • Students must register for all 4 classes

      • Students may leave after any class period* (*parent/guardian transportation only)

      • District 103 transportation is available for in-person students for a one-time fee of $150.00

      • In response to COVID-19 mitigation measures, in-person learning students will only be able to register for one group/POD. A POD will consist of 4 classes. The classes will be predetermined based on previous years’ enrollment. There will be 4 groups/PODs for each grade range. Within each POD, the grade range will offer the same classes. Students will travel together as a group to each of their 4 classes.

      • In-person classes will be held at Daniel Wright Junior High School

     

Remote Summer School

    • Remote Learning students can attend up to 4 different classes - please be aware of the period number and time(s) for each ZOOM class

     

Camp 103 Club

  • Camp 103 Club is for all District 103 children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Children do not need to participate in 103 Club during the school year to attend Camp 103 Club, however, students must attend District 103 summer school to attend Camp 103 Club. Camp 103 Club operates after District 103 summer school hours. Camp will be held at Sprague School and busing will be provided there as part of the camp registration fees.

    Camp will operate during District 103 summer school from Tuesday, June 8 through Wednesday, June 30.

    • Afternoon Adventurers: 12:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a total cost of $700
