About Summer School

What better way to warm up during these winter months than to think about summer school!? Please review the preliminary D103 Summer School offerings. A detailed course schedule will be shared soon. Courses may change based on staff availability.

📍 Grades K–7 Programs

Enrichment Courses

🈴 Location: Daniel Wright Junior High School
📅 Dates: Monday, June 8 through Wednesday, July 1
🚫 No classes: June 19
⏰ Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. (four 50-minute periods)

Registration Details

  • Opens: Wednesday, March 4 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Closes: Friday, March 20 at 12:00 p.m.
  • Register through the PowerSchool platform
  • Complete the Google Form Help Sheet if you need assistance.
  • If space is available, a late registration window will open May 4–May 8.

  • For questions not answered during registration, pease email summerschool@d103.org. 

Fee Payment

  • $80 per class (some classes include additional material fees)

  • Billing for classes and transportation will appear in PowerSchool after March 20, 2026.

  • Families will receive an email when fees are posted, along with payment instructions.

  • No refunds will be issued for canceled registrations.

Transportation

  • Bus service is available for a one-time fee of $155 per student.
  • Bus service is available before Period 1 and after Period 4 only.
  • You must select transportation in PowerSchool at the time of registration.

Important Registration Guidelines

  • Students must register for their current grade level.

  • Students must enroll in:

    • Periods 1 & 2, or
    • Periods 3 & 4, or
    • Periods 1–4
  • Register students for one class per period only.

  • Students may leave:

    • After Period 2 (parent pick-up only), or
    • After Period 4 (parent pick-up or bus)
  • These scheduling rules do not apply to ESY students.

Popular classes may fill within minutes. If a class is full, please select another option. We do not maintain waitlists. Available seats are always visible in PowerSchool. You may adjust your schedule until registration closes.

🈴 Location: Laura B. Sprague School
Early Childhood (EC)
⏰ 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
IIP (K/2) and Guided (K/3)
⏰ 8:30 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.
📅 Dates: Monday, June 8 through Wednesday, July 1
🚫 No classes: June 19

Extended School Year (ESY)
ESY is for students with special needs whose IEP team recommends Extended School Year services. The IEP team determines eligibility. Families will receive notification from the Student Services Department before summer school registration opens.

Multilingual (ML) Program
A separate Multilingual Jumpstart Program will take place in August. ML teachers will share more information soon with families of students who qualify. All Multilingual students are encouraged to participate in D103 Enrichment Summer School.
