Academic Success for Students

We are pleased to tell you about the P.A.S.S. (Providing Academic Success for Students) after school academic program at Daniel Wright. The P.A.S.S. program is an excellent opportunity for students to take advantage of the resources available at Daniel Wright after the regular school day.

P.A.S.S. is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 30, 2021, and will be offered to students Monday through Thursday from 3:40 to 4:55 p.m. The P.A.S.S. after school academic program should not be considered a year long commitment and students should attend this program on an “as needed” basis. The P.A.S.S. program is intended to be used for receiving additional materials and support when needed. Please note that students are expected to remain in P.A.S.S. until 4:55 p.m. unless a parent/guardian comes in to sign him/her out.

There is no fee for the P.A.S.S. after school program and bus transportation is provided for students who need transportation home. Buses depart from D.W. from the end of the 8th grade hallway by 5:00 p.m. Please note that P.A.S.S. bus routes are not the same as the usual A.M. and P.M. bus routes. Therefore, students will be dropped off in close proximity to their regular bus stops.

If you have any questions regarding the P.A.S.S. program, please do not hesitate to contact the Daniel Wright office at (847) 295-1560.
