Hispanic Heritage Month
National Hispanic Heritage Month honors the culture, heritage, and contributions of Hispanic Americans each year. During this month, observed annually from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, communities mark the achievements of Hispanic and Latino Americans with festivals and educational activities, stated the website, Hispanic Heritage Month.
The 2023 Hispanic Heritage Month theme invites us “to celebrate Hispanic Heritage and to reflect on how great our tomorrow can be if we hold onto our resilience and hope,” according to the National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers.
D103 schools do this through reading books, weekly lessons, and displays.
