Spring Art Show

My name is Mrs. (Allison) Smith and I am the new Sprague art teacher this year. I am so excited and impressed by your talented students. They continuously surprise me with their creative art projects. I wanted to let you know that there will be a Virtual Art Show at the end of the school year. We have been hard at work with creating some beautiful masterpieces for the show. So far we have done two big art assignments that I am saving for the show.

Each week on Zoom we are creating artwork for the Virtual Art Show. If your child would like to have their work on display at the Virtual Art Show, please have them submit a good quality picture on Seesaw. It is never too late to turn in artwork on Seesaw. When you click the Activity Button (light bulb icon) in Seesaw, you will see various Units with all of the videos on how to do the art project. Once the students have watched all of the videos to create the project, all they need to do is take a picture and submit it on Seesaw. If you are unsure if your child has completed the projects, you can always reach out to me at asmith@d103.org

Here is a list of projects we have done this year that I am saving for the Art Show:

Kindergarten

  • Line Leaf

  • Rainbow Fish

1st Grade

  • Line Pumpkin

  • Three Musicians

2nd Grade

  • Banyan Tree

  • Sugar Skull

Thank you so much for supporting the Arts!
