Sprague School offers many social opportunities for families to meet one another throughout the year and Game Nights are just such an occasion.
The weather was beautiful and students and families met on the school playground by grade level recently to play games and socialize.
“Having it by grade level was nice because it allowed us to host everyone at once outside. And, it helped create a sense of community after a year isolated because of the pandemic,” said one of the parent planners, Maggie Roler.
Sprague offers many social activities for families throughout the year. During the school day parents volunteer at the Family Traditions Fair and Winter Carnival. After hours families are invited to the Valentine’s Day dance, Game Nights, and other classroom specific activities.
“These are great events for parents to meet other parents in their children's classroom where they can spark conversations about learning and such,” said Principal Ann Hofmeier.
