Plans Change? Send a Note

Should your child's after school plans veer from their normal routine, please send a "paper" note (NOT an email) to school with your child.

Note for Pre-Arranged Plans Should Include:

  • date

  • child's name

  • teacher's name

  • details, such as " being picked up by parent and will not be riding the bus home after school" or "will not attend 103 Club and will take the bus home", etc.

Paper notes are important because they are used to notify the teacher and/or substitute teacher, the office, sometimes the bus driver, and the 103 Club.

  1. The teacher reviews the note in the morning and sends it to the office.

  2. The office makes copies of the notes for reference at the end of the day.

  3. The original note is then sent back to the classroom at 2:00 p.m. so the child has the note as a reminder at the end of the day.

Please use the sample note of a "Note from Home". These notes are available for you to print and copy at home. Yellow note pads are sold by our PTO and are available in the school office for purchase at one pad for $3.00 and two pads for $5.00.

Last Minute Plans - If your plans change during the day, please call the office at (847) 634-6463 before 2:00 p.m. and we will get a message to the classroom. We ask that you not email the office or the teacher.
