Outdoor Education
Fourth-grade students enjoyed bridging the gap between "indoor" and "outdoor" education during a recent outdoor education experience at Camp MacLean in Burlington, WI. Through the natural environment and resources of Camp MacLean, and the efforts of district teachers, students experienced learning and living apart from traditional classrooms. In addition to the curriculum, students experience enriching character and community building. At Outdoor Ed, students participate in several different activities including pond study, science studies, team building challenges, and the Skyway challenge high ropes course.
