The Half Day Student Council has been collecting coins for three charities over the past several weeks -- Habitat for Humanity, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and Feed My Starving Children. In addition to donating actual coins to the charities, the 'gold coins' students counted were donated after students received them for performing acts of kindness and caring around the school among other things. The gold coins were then redeemed for a charitable donation by the Student Council. For more pictures of the coin collection, please visit the school's Google Doc folder.
